On 9 Mar 2015, China’s Inventory of Hazardous Chemicals (2015) was jointly issued by 10 departments under the central government. It will take effect from 1 May 2015 and replace the Catalogue of Hazardous Chemicals (2002) and Inventory of Chinese Highly Toxic Chemicals (2002). The inventory contains 2828 well-recognized hazardous chemicals and will help guide the administrative work of the authorities, as well as clarify industries’ obligations under State Council Decree 591 and its sub-regulations.
On 21 Apr 2015, The Chemical Daily will host “Interpretation on Inventory of Hazardous Chemicals (2015) Seminar” in Tokyo, Japan. REACH24H is invited to analyze the possible influences of newly published inventory, and provide compliance strategies on hazardous chemical registration in China. This one-day seminar will enable Japanese companies share best practice and gain a greater understanding of the latest developments in the chemical regulatory environment in China.
